DOMESTIC AND RESIDENTIAL
Electrical work in your home, certified when we leave.
Rewires, extensions, sockets and lighting, and fault finding. Notifiable work is notified to Building Control by us, on our own registration.
WHAT YOU GET
The small jobs as well as the big ones
Most of our work is in people's homes, and that includes the jobs a bigger firm will not send a van out for. A single socket, a light that trips the board, a fault nobody else has got to the bottom of.
Whatever the size, the installation is designed and tested against BS 7671 and you get the certificate for it. That is the difference between work that is finished and work that is merely done.

Roughly what are you after?
Pick the closest one, it saves you describing the whole thing twice. Then tell us the rest here, rather than on another page.
HOW IT WORKS
Six steps, and a certificate at the end of them.
STEP 01
Free quote, in writing
Tell us roughly what needs doing. A short description is plenty to start with.
STEP 02
Designed to BS 7671
The installation is designed against the 18th Edition wiring regulations before anyone picks up a tool.
STEP 03
Installed by our own engineers
Qualified and NICEIC approved. No subcontracted unknowns turning up at your door.
STEP 04
Inspected and tested
Full inspection and test to BS 7671, with every result recorded rather than ticked off.
STEP 05
Certificate in your hand
An Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate, issued by us.
STEP 06
Building Control notified
Notifiable domestic work notified under Part P, on our own Domestic Installer registration.
CERTIFICATION
What a certified installation includes.
| CERTIFIED | UNCERTIFIED | |
|---|---|---|
| Full inspection and test to BS 7671, with the results recorded | ||
| An Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Works Certificate in your hand | ||
| Building Control notified for notifiable domestic work, under Part P | ||
| The installer's actual work assessed by NICEIC, not just their paperwork | ||
| A registered contractor answerable to a scheme if something is wrong |
Ask any electrician for the certificate before the job starts. If the answer is vague, so is the testing.
OTHER SERVICES
We do the rest of it too.
OR JUST RING US
Easier to explain out loud?
Ring the office and talk it through with somebody who does the work. The mobiles are answered any hour if it will not wait.
